Fellow Travelers-
Congratulations on making it through 2020. Seriously- It was a hard year for most, with so many plans put on hold, lifestyles changed, and perspectives challenged. The year was no different for us. We planned to release at least one new batch of music, to tour, and a few other projects. However, with finances growing thin, a quarantine, and the physical loss of 72nd and Central HQ due to a storm, the year assumed a life of its own. We assure you the time was not idle, however, and we have grown through the changes. There is a lot of new music in progress that has an uncontainable energy, about which we couldn’t be more excited.
72nd and Central are elated to announce that we will be recording a three song E.P. in February 2021. The session will take place in Atlanta, Georgia, with engineer Randy Garcia, who has previously worked with us, as well as appearing as the drummer on “Patience.” The E.P. will include two new songs and a previously unreleased song that has been a staple of our live shows for some time. Titles, artwork, and release information will come at a later date.
The action doesn’t stop here either. We have three more recording projects lined up in the next year, with new material, a dive into some select covers, and finally, a secret gift to our fans. You can also keep your eyes peeled for plenty of video footage and other content coming your way.
