Glad to be Back, Plus One.

Glad to be Back, Plus One.

Hello all- We've been hard at work on several recording projects, including the EP we announced in January. We also had a great show recently with Black River Rebels and Psycho Psycho, at our home venue, The Radio Room, here in GVL SC. It's comforting to see things getting back to some semblance of 'normal,' and the energy at shows has been bubbling. We're excited for a big year. The recent show at Radio Room was the debut of our second guitarist, Tony Edwards. We've been a trio for almost a decade, but we have some really exciting music coming forth, and we decided it was time to fill out the sound. We welcome Tony, and invite you to do the same! Our next show will be here in GVL, at Gottrocks opening for the legendary Blackfoot! Also on the show are Evan's Dilemma and Peacemaker. Mic Check – 2021

Mic Check – 2021

Fellow Travelers- Congratulations on making it through 2020. Seriously- It was a hard year for most, with so many plans put on hold, lifestyles changed, and perspectives challenged. The year was no different for us. We planned to release at least one new batch of music, to tour, and a few other projects. However, with finances growing thin, a quarantine, and the physical loss of 72nd and Central HQ due to a storm, the year assumed a life of its own. We assure you the time was not idle, however, and we have grown through the changes. There is a lot of new music in progress that has an uncontainable energy, about which we couldn't be more excited. 72nd and Central are elated to announce that we will be recording a three song E.P. in February 2021. The session will take place in Atlanta, Georgia, with engineer Randy Garcia, who has previously worked with us, as well as appearing as the drummer...

Back at Work: Spring 2019

Hello all- This spring has been a busy one for many reasons: new gear, new songs, shows in new places. Playing Gottrocks in Greenville SC was a highlight- many many shows in this town, yet just getting around to performing at this venue. Thanks to our friends in Silver Tongue Devils, and Arcane for making this one happen. We also enjoyed two shows at Ground Zero in Spartanburg SC. The first was with III Kings and Supergroup Rivals, the second with Seven Year Witch, Oak Wind and Salti Ray. One more show definitely worth mentioning is our show at Eighth State Brewing in Greenville SC, thanks to The Parlor Pinks Events. A very cool new brewery in town hosting free shows and great music! We enjoyed performing with Orange Doors and Persona La Ave. Finally, we helped send off Nophest in Atlanta. Curated by our great friend and audio engineer, Randy Garcia (Smoochyface, Swank Sinatra), the festival said goodbye in 2019....
